Dan Jing Wu Receives Santiago WISE Award at TOPX Leadership Summit 2025

During the TOPX Leadership Summit 2025, held on 13–14 November, VivArt-X CEO Dan Jing Wu was named one of the five recipients of the Santiago WISE Award, a prestigious recognition for female entrepreneurs in medical technology who are actively shaping the future of healthcare.

The Santiago WISE Award supports women founders in MedTech who are ready to scale their innovations and deepen their impact. Beyond financial support, the initiative offers access to world-class education and a strong leadership network. This recognition is particularly significant given that, although women account for approximately 35% of funding applicants in the Netherlands, only 1.8% of total investment capital goes to female entrepreneurs.

The award was presented by Stan Roestenberg and Eline van Beest during the TOPX Leadership Summit, a leadership event for life sciences and health.

While the Santiago WISE Award does not resolve the funding gap overnight, it represents a concrete step toward greater equity in healthcare innovation and a strong motivation to continue setting new standards for women in MedTech.
