VivArt-X and SBMC start €500,000 innovation project for regenerative biomaterials

VivArt-X has started a new innovation project with Smart BioMaterials Center (SBMC). Through this collaboration, we will further develop our regenerative biomaterial platform and prepare it for the next stages towards medical application.  The total project value of €500,000 is supported by an SBMC research grant, with co-funding provided by VivArt-X and its partners.

Turning a promising biomaterial into a medical innovation requires more than strong scientific results. It also requires specialist expertise, suitable facilities and a controlled development environment. By working with SBMC, VivArt-X can make use of its biomaterials expertise and ISO-certified facilities to take important next steps in the development process.

SBMC is one of the specialised pilot lines within the national pilot factory for regenerative medicine, established as part of the RegMed XB Growth Fund programme. This places the project within a broader network of facilities and expertise designed to help regenerative medicine innovations progress from research towards practical and scalable applications.

We look forward to starting the project and working together on the further development of our technology.
